URGENT UPDATE: Three children have been arrested following a shocking incident in Bradenton, Florida, where they allegedly fired flare guns off the Green Bridge, igniting a devastating fire on a yacht. Authorities confirmed the arrests occurred on Tuesday, with significant damage reported to a 45-foot yacht docked at the Twin Dolphin Marina.

Witnesses called 911 after seeing the flames erupt and reported seeing children on the bridge just moments before the fire started. The Bradenton Fire Department quickly responded, extinguishing the flames that had engulfed the vessel.

CCTV footage from the city captured the children, aged 14, 12, and 11, brandishing flare guns shortly before the yacht was set ablaze, according to detectives. The authorities are treating this incident with utmost seriousness; the 14-year-old has been charged with first-degree arson, along with multiple firearm-related offenses, including possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The younger suspects, aged 12 and 11, face charges for possession of a firearm by a minor and discharging a firearm in public. All three have been taken to the Manatee Juvenile Detention Center.

This incident raises urgent questions about youth behavior and firearm access in Florida, highlighting the severe consequences of reckless actions. As this story develops, authorities are expected to provide further updates on the legal ramifications for the young suspects and the impact of their actions on the local community.
