YouTuber Adam the Woo, whose real name was David Adam Williams, has died at the age of 51. The influencer was discovered deceased in his home located in Celebration, Florida, on Monday, December 22, 2025, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
A friend of Williams alerted the police after peering through a window and noticing him lying unconscious on a bed. The sheriff’s office stated, “The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there.” Authorities received the call regarding an unattended death at 14:53 local time.
Upon arrival, deputies found Williams unresponsive. “A friend had borrowed a ladder and looked in the third-story window to see a male on a bed that was not moving,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office explained. Emergency responders entered the residence with assistance from fire rescue personnel and confirmed that Williams had passed away.
Investigation Underway
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation and has notified Williams’ father of his death. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death. As of now, there are no indications of foul play.
Williams was well-known for his engaging YouTube channels, where he documented travels to notable movie locations, roadside attractions, and abandoned theme parks. He had amassed over 1 million subscribers across both channels, earning a dedicated following for his unique content.
Fellow YouTuber Justin “Scarred” Willits expressed his grief through an emotional post on Instagram. “The world has lost a giant, and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood,” he wrote, sharing a series of photographs featuring moments spent with Williams. Willits highlighted Williams’ generous spirit, saying, “I wish the world could have known the soft and generous heart behind the screen.”
Willits urged followers to pray for Williams’ family, specifically mentioning his parents, Jim and June, and his sister, Faith. He concluded his tribute with a heartfelt message, saying, “I love you, Adam. I’m devastated and lost – but you have done more for me than I can ever repay you for.”
Friends Remember a Talented Creator
Another friend, Chris Yon, also took to social media to share his shock and sadness. “I just visited him four days ago in Celebration, Florida. We rode around town in his golf cart checking out the decorations, talking about his recent international travel, and his excitement for upcoming plans on his YouTube channel,” Yon recalled.
He expressed disbelief at the suddenness of Williams’ passing, stating, “I truly don’t know what to say. I’m in complete shock. RIP David Adam Williams.”
