UPDATE: The search for missing 36-year-old father Jamie Poole intensifies as authorities urge the community to remain vigilant along the River Trent. Jamie was last seen on October 28, around 5:07 PM, leaving his home in Newark for his daily walk.
Community members are being asked to actively monitor river banks as search efforts continue both on land and in the water. Jamie is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, with short dark brown/black hair, and was last seen wearing a dark red burgundy Superdry jacket, black or blue Adidas jogging bottoms, and black Nike trainers.
Authorities report that Jamie was captured on CCTV at 5:31 PM walking along Alexander Avenue and again at 5:33 PM on Fleming Drive. Concerns mounted around 7:30 PM when Jamie failed to return home on time. His partner, Brydie Cove, attempted to reach him, but his red iPhone was found turned off.
Search teams, including the Watersafe UK Search and Rescue Team and Nottinghamshire Police, are combing the area for any signs of Jamie. Friends and family have mobilized to conduct their own searches and are appealing for public assistance.
