UPDATE: A man from Salisbury, Massachusetts, has been arrested for making a series of bomb threats online. Scott Merchant, aged 36, faces serious charges of making a bomb threat and threatening to commit murder, according to a press release from local police.
This urgent situation unfolded on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, when FBI Boston special agents alerted Salisbury police about ongoing threats involving explosives and firearms. Authorities confirmed that Merchant was utilizing a social media platform to issue these alarming threats while situated in Salisbury.
