OnlyFans Star Sophie Rain Slams Uber Over Bizarre DM Mix-Up

UPDATE: OnlyFans star Sophie Rain has called out Uber after a perplexing message from the rideshare giant’s official account appeared in her social media feed, causing a frenzy online. This incident unfolded following Rain’s announcement on November 10, 2025, where she pledged to provide financial assistance to families impacted by the recent government suspension of SNAP benefits.

Rain posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “I am giving out money to help those in need this week during the government shutdown. If you or anyone you know needs assistance this week, please drop any payment method below so I can lend a helping hand.” Her post quickly gained traction, with many fans responding with requests for help.

Things took a strange turn when Uber’s official account replied to Rain’s post with a now-deleted message stating, “Xoxosamyo on PayPal,” punctuated with a crying emoji and a pink heart with sparkles emoji. Fans swiftly captured screenshots before the tweet was removed, igniting a wave of chatter across social media.

Rain did not hold back in her response, stating, “Uber, you better start paying your social media interns more because this is CRAZY.” In an interview with The Blast, Rain humorously remarked, “Didn’t think I’d be Instacarting groceries to Uber this week, but here we are. I get hundreds of payment requests a day, but seeing a verified Uber account with crying emojis and a PayPal handle threw me.”

She added, “At first, I thought someone hacked their account. Then I realized, no, this is probably just an underpaid intern trying to get fed like the rest of us. So I sent the money. What else am I gonna do, let Uber go hungry?”

Through her tweets and interviews, Rain highlighted a larger issue regarding the economic struggles many face, particularly during the ongoing government shutdown. She took the opportunity to directly address Uber, questioning, “If your social media intern is out here publicly asking OnlyFans girls for help with groceries, maybe your company should take a break from the self-driving cars and pay them a livable wage. Just a thought.”

As of now, Uber has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. This unexpected twist has not only drawn attention to the plight of struggling families but also raised questions about the treatment of employees within large corporations.

This developing story continues to resonate with many, drawing in both support for Rain’s charitable efforts and critique of Uber’s social media practices. Keep an eye on this unfolding situation as it highlights urgent social issues amidst a backdrop of economic challenges.

Stay tuned for updates as both Rain and Uber navigate the aftermath of this unusual incident, showcasing the intersection of celebrity influence and corporate responsibility in today’s digital landscape.
