Former Iowa State standout Breece Hall is gearing up for his fourth season in the NFL, now playing with the New York Jets and new quarterback Justin Fields. Fields recently shared his admiration for Hall’s skills, highlighting the running back’s impressive catching ability and versatility on the field.
“When I first got to the Jets, Breece Hall’s hands surprised me,” Fields stated. He recounted a memorable touchdown catch Hall made during a game against the Tennessee Titans last season. Fields elaborated, “You can tell which guys have natural hands, and he does.” He noted Hall’s effectiveness in various roles, mentioning, “He had a number of catches yesterday from the receiver spot, the slot, and coming out of the backfield to catch the ball. He’s a great weapon to have, and I’m sure we’re gonna utilize him in that way.”
