Jisoo Discusses Winter Plans and Memorable Moments from BLACKPINK Tour

Jisoo, a member of the globally renowned group BLACKPINK, recently participated in a photo shoot for ELLE Korea. Following the shoot, she shared her thoughts on winter, her most memorable moments from the ongoing “DEADLINE” tour, and her evolving music career.

In the interview, Jisoo expressed her fondness for winter, stating, “Time flew by while I was busy, and suddenly December is here. This winter, I want to spend it especially warmly.” She added that she hopes to enjoy the beauty of falling snow, envisioning cozy moments at home under a blanket, watching the snowflakes descend.

Memorable Tour Experience and Musical Journey

When reflecting on her most cherished moment from the “DEADLINE” tour, Jisoo mentioned the emotional connection with fans. “I love the moment when BLINKs all turn on their smartphone lights and wave them together whenever we sing the song ‘STAY.’ I think it will remain deep in my memory for a long time and be a great source of strength when I’m going through tough times,” she said.

Since February 2023, Jisoo has been exploring themes of love in her music, ranging from her solo album “AMORTAGE” to her latest single “EYES CLOSED”, which features former One Direction member Zayn Malik. She explained her artistic focus, noting, “Most human emotions are connected to love, so I naturally end up talking about different kinds of love.”

Jisoo also shared her perspective on love, stating, “I don’t think perfect love exists. Maybe the final stage of love is when two people come to understand each other and live in a way that brings them as close to perfection as possible.” This insight reflects her thoughtful approach to both her personal experiences and her artistic expression.

Self-Care and Resilience

When asked about self-love, Jisoo emphasized her commitment to self-care. “I’ve always cherished and taken good care of myself. I just hope I can continue living this way,” she said. She expressed a desire to remain resilient during difficult times, stating, “Whenever hard times come, I hope I can remember that I always have myself and overcome it without being shaken by even the smallest breeze.”

Jisoo’s full pictorial and interview will be featured in the December issue of ELLE Korea, offering fans further insights into her life and career. As she continues to navigate the complexities of fame and artistry, her reflections resonate with many, highlighting the universal themes of love, resilience, and self-discovery.
