Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, a cherished member of the Coopersburg community, passed away on December 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill. She was 77 years old. Born on July 15, 1948, in Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz. Pat is remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her vibrant spirit and loving nature.
Pat Huber, a distinguished medical professional, graduated from the University of Rochester before earning her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. Her dedication to medicine was evident throughout her career, which culminated in a residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Known for her intelligence, commitment, and compassionate care, she touched the lives of many patients and colleagues.
Beyond her professional life, Pat was a woman of diverse interests. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed bringing friends and family together around her dining table. Her love for gardening and floral arranging led her to take classes, deepening her appreciation for the beauty of nature. A devoted reader, she often had a book in hand, finding solace and joy in literature. Her affection for animals was evident through her two beloved cats, Toby and Russo, who provided her with companionship.
Pat’s family was her greatest treasure. She shared a deep bond with her daughter, Dana Sisson, who was not only her child but also her closest friend. Pat’s faith played a significant role in her life; as an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, she found community and lasting friendships.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. R. Steven Sisson, her daughter Dana, a nephew, Jeff Huber, and her two cats. Pat was preceded in death by her two brothers, Rick and Ed Huber.
Memorial Service and Community Tributes
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours from 1-2 p.m. on December 28, 2025, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049.
