The Korean members of the multinational girl group MADEIN are reportedly preparing to leave the team. According to a report by Hankyung.com on December 26, 2025, Suhye and Yeseo are in the final stages of discussions with their agency regarding their departure.
MADEIN debuted in September 2024, formed by former members of LIMELIGHT alongside Kep1er‘s Mashiro and Yeseo. However, the group has faced significant turmoil, particularly following allegations of misconduct against their agency’s CEO, Mr. Lee of 143 Entertainment. A former member accused him of forced molestation, leading to her exit from the group and a subsequent reorganization into a six-member act.
During this tumultuous period, Mr. Lee was publicly embroiled in a dispute regarding the allegations. A handwritten statement, which appeared to express remorse over the accusations, was released, but his side denied the claims, asserting that “there are many parts that differ from the facts.”
Despite these controversies, MADEIN released their last album, MADEIN FOREVER, in February 2025. Following this, Suhye suspended her activities in May, casting doubt on the likelihood of a full-group comeback. Currently, the group is only promoting through a unit called MADEIN S, which features Japanese members Mashiro, Miyu, Serina, and Nagomi.
Additionally, reports indicate that the company overseeing MADEIN‘s Japanese management is preparing to address potential breaches of contract related to the ongoing situation.
The continuing fallout from these allegations highlights the challenges faced by girl groups in the K-pop industry, affecting not only their professional dynamics but also their public image. As MADEIN navigates this crisis, the future of the group remains uncertain.
