URGENT UPDATE: Three individuals were discovered dead inside a residence in Rolling Hills, California, early Saturday morning, with authorities suggesting a possible murder-suicide. The grim discovery was made around 10:20 a.m. in the 100 block of Crest Road East.
Law enforcement officials from the Lomita Sheriff’s Station responded to a distress call from a woman who reported finding her sister and father unresponsive. After deputies secured the area, a third victim, another woman, was also found deceased inside the home.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s department, “Based on the investigators’ initial, ongoing investigation, this incident appears to be a domestic violence-related murder-suicide, and there is no threat to the community.”
