BREAKING: The Solano College women’s volleyball team kicked off their 2025 season with a spectacular victory, defeating Yuba College in straight sets, 25-12, 25-20, 25-17, on September 29, 2025. This decisive win marks the Falcons’ 70th consecutive victory in the Bay Valley Conference, reinforcing their dominance in the league.
Kaylie Reyes led the charge for Solano, showcasing an impressive performance with 17 kills, 10 digs, and 11 assists. Lilli Mass contributed significantly with 9 kills and a block, while Aliyah Aguiar shone brightly with 8 kills—all without errors. Aguiar also served 3-3 with an ace, demonstrating her all-around skills on the court.
Giana Guintu added 7 kills, 24 assists, and 8 digs, serving 15-16 with an ace, while Makenzie Lovell impressed with her serving, achieving 15-17 with three aces. This remarkable team effort propelled Solano to an overall record of 10-11.
The Falcons, who finished last season with an impressive 26-6 record and a perfect 10-0 in the Bay Valley Conference, continue to build on their legacy. Their relentless pursuit of excellence has led them to claim seven straight BVC crowns, and they have no intention of slowing down.
