URGENT UPDATE: Providence Swedish is actively recruiting former patients and their family members to join the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC), a vital initiative designed to enhance patient care at Providence Medical Group clinics, Providence St. Peter Hospital, and Providence Centralia Hospital.
This call for new members comes as the PFAC plays a crucial role in shaping healthcare policies and practices since its formation in 2011. The council meets from noon to 2 p.m. on the first Friday of each month, offering both in-person and virtual participation options.
Chief Executive Darin Goss emphasized the importance of the council, stating, “Providence Swedish in South Puget Sound is committed to partnering with patients, families, and caregivers throughout the healthcare experience. The Patient Family Advisory Council provides an invaluable perspective. Our mission is all about serving patients and families.”
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experienced care at Providence facilities to make their voices heard and influence the quality of healthcare services. Members of the PFAC contribute their insights directly to committees, ensuring that the patient perspective is always at the forefront of decision-making.
Interested individuals can apply by filling out an application and participating in an interview process. For more details, please contact Patricia Warnick at 360-791-3486 or via email at [email protected]. Applications can be submitted through the link: shorturl.at/qtVDM.
Providence Swedish welcomes members from diverse backgrounds to ensure a wide range of perspectives are represented. This initiative not only empowers patients but also aims to foster a community where healthcare quality continuously improves.
