Running back Jam Miller and linebacker Justin Jefferson from the Alabama Crimson Tide have accepted invitations to participate in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl, scheduled to be held at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. They will join their teammate Deontae Lawson at this prestigious collegiate event.
Miller, who has faced a challenging season due to injuries, missed the first three games of the season after suffering a collarbone injury during a scrimmage in August. Despite returning to action, he experienced a concussion in mid-October during a game against Missouri. Although he managed to continue playing without missing additional games, he left the Iron Bowl early and could not participate in the SEC Championship Game due to a lower-body injury. This season, the senior running back has averaged four yards per carry across 123 attempts, scoring three touchdowns. His standout performance came on October 4, 2025, against Vanderbilt, where he recorded 136 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Justin Jefferson’s Rising Star
Linebacker Justin Jefferson is making the most of his additional year of eligibility. According to the official Alabama team website, he has amassed a total of 73 tackles this season, with 14 of those tackles against Vanderbilt. The Memphis native has consistently demonstrated his value on the field, achieving six or more tackles in a game on seven occasions this year. Jefferson has been with Alabama since the 2023 season, but he gained prominence during Kalen DeBoer‘s first year as head coach last fall, becoming a key figure in the team’s defense.
The participation of Miller and Jefferson in the Senior Bowl highlights their resilience and talent, showcasing their potential for future professional careers in football. As they prepare for this significant event, their performances will be closely watched by scouts and fans alike.
