STACK Infrastructure has successfully raised more than $1.3 million at its annual Heroes of the Sea Charitable Fundraiser and Salmon Fishing Derby, held in Astoria, Oregon. This significant fundraising effort will directly benefit active-duty, reservist, and retired Chief Warrant Officers of the U.S. Coast Guard. The event marked a critical milestone, pushing the total contributions from this initiative to over $3.4 million since its inception.
The funds raised will support vital programs through partnerships with the Coast Guard Foundation and the Pacific Northwest Chief Warrant Officers Association (CWOA). Ty Miller, Chief Commercial Officer of STACK Americas, expressed gratitude for the strong support from the data center industry. “This year’s event was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together in support of our broader community,” Miller stated.
Long-standing Commitment to Coast Guard Service Members
In June 2025, STACK Infrastructure received the Coast Guard Foundation’s Guardian Award, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to U.S. Coast Guard personnel. The recognition was a focal point at this year’s Heroes of the Sea event, where participants united in their dedication to the Coast Guard community. The U.S. Coast Guard plays a crucial role in safeguarding maritime commerce, protecting port infrastructure, and ensuring environmental safety, yet the needs of its members often go unnoticed.
The funds raised through the Heroes of the Sea initiative aim to highlight and address these urgent needs. Established in 2023, the Heroes of the Sea Foundation Endowment Fund, now managed by the Coast Guard Foundation, signifies a long-term commitment to supporting service members. This endowment is designed to facilitate ongoing charitable distributions, ensuring that essential programs such as emergency relief, educational support, and wellness initiatives remain available far into the future.
Susan Ludwig, President of the Coast Guard Foundation, remarked, “The Heroes of the Sea endowment has become more than a vision; it is now part of a lasting legacy.” She emphasized that the continued support of this initiative has created a sustainable framework to uplift the Coast Guard community for years to come.
