Kempinski Group, a prestigious European luxury hospitality brand, has officially entered the U.S. market with the launch of the Kempinski Residences Miami Design District. This new development marks the brand’s inaugural residential project in the United States, introducing its renowned European service philosophy to Miami’s vibrant urban core.
The two-tower development, strategically located at the gateway to the Miami Design District, features a total of 132 private residences, complemented by six townhomes and 17 guest suites designated exclusively for residents. Each residence will range from two to four bedrooms, with living spaces varying from approximately 2,100 to 3,100 square feet, and some units boasting expansive areas of up to 3,700 square feet. The project promises stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Downtown Miami skyline from expansive private terraces.
Architectural Vision and Design
The architectural design is led by the acclaimed firm Arquitectonica, while interior spaces are crafted by Rockwell Group and landscape design by Enea. This collaboration aims to create a living environment that harmonizes refined European craftsmanship with the modern, bold identity of the Design District. The result is a residential setting that captures the essence of both timeless elegance and contemporary Miami style.
Beyond its architectural appeal, Kempinski Residences emphasizes a lifestyle anchored in the brand’s celebrated hospitality heritage. The daily management and resident services will be overseen by Kempinski Management Group, ensuring a seamless experience characterized by personalization and meticulous attention to detail.
Barbara Muckermann, CEO of Kempinski Group, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Miami is where timeless luxury and visionary development meet. It is the ideal setting to introduce Kempinski Residences to the United States and offer an elevated residential lifestyle that celebrates culture, connection, and authentic living.”
Comprehensive Amenities for Residents
Amenities within the development will span both towers, interconnected by an elevated third-floor amenity bridge. Wellness facilities will include a fitness center, spa areas, lap and cold plunge pools, as well as infrared and steam saunas. Social spaces will feature a restaurant with terrace seating, private dining salons, a library with wine and game lounges, screening rooms, and a golf and Formula 1 simulator.
Family-oriented amenities will cater to younger residents, providing children’s playrooms, splash pads, and shaded outdoor play areas, all within landscaped grounds that include electric vehicle charging stations.
Joseph DaGrosa, Founder and Chairman of DaGrosa Capital Development Partners, highlighted the significance of the Design District as a backdrop for this venture. He stated, “Kempinski’s commitment to heritage, service excellence, and refined living aligns seamlessly with the district’s creative energy and global appeal.”
Sales and marketing for the Kempinski Residences will be managed by ISG World, with project completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2029.
