Travis Scott has marked a significant achievement with the debut of his album Jackboys 2 at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album, which launched on July 26, 2025, secured the top position by accumulating 232,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending July 17, as reported by Luminate. This debut follows the success of the first Jackboys compilation album, which also reached No. 1 when it was released in late 2019.
In a celebratory post on social media, Scott expressed his excitement, stating, “THIS ONE FOR THE SQUUAAAADDDD. JB2 #1 @cactusjack.” He also acknowledged the contributions of Bilal “Bizzy” Joseph, the album’s executive producer and co-founder of Cactus Jack. Joseph was notably featured on Billboard’s 2024 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players list, highlighting his influential role in the industry. Scott remarked, “I let my brother bizzy take the wheel on this one.”
Collaborations and Chart Success
The album showcases a blend of established and emerging artists, featuring collaborations with Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, Chase B, and Luxury Tax 50. Notably, it includes a remix of the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Highest in the Room,” which originally featured Rosalía and Lil Baby.
Nearly six years after the first album, Jackboys 2 expands its roster with newcomers such as SoFaygo and Wallie the Sensei, who is the latest signee to Cactus Jack. The album also features collaborations with artists like Vybz Kartel, Tyla, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Future, further enhancing its appeal.
Following its release, six songs from Jackboys 2 made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. These tracks include “Kick Out” at No. 50, “Champain & Vacay” featuring Don Toliver at No. 53, “Dumbo” at No. 54, “2000 Excursion” with Wes and Toliver at No. 72, “Where Was You” featuring Carti and Future at No. 74, and “Shyne” featuring GloRilla at No. 93.
The success of Jackboys 2 not only demonstrates Scott’s ability to captivate audiences but also reinforces the collaborative spirit that has become a hallmark of his music. As he revels in this latest milestone, fans can look forward to more engaging projects from the artist and his label.
