Nate Olson has been promoted to Vice President of Sales Strategy and Business Development at Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union (MMFCU), effective immediately. In this new role, he will oversee the sales strategy across all twelve MMFCU offices, focusing on enhancing member services and supporting the credit union’s commitment to community engagement.

Olson’s career at MMFCU spans over twenty-two years, during which he has held several key positions that have significantly shaped member experiences and staff development. He began his journey with MMFCU as the Brainerd Branch Manager, where he hired and coached numerous employees into successful careers. Most recently, he served as Regional Manager, focusing on new member growth and enhancing the capabilities of member-facing staff.
In his new position, Olson aims to drive initiatives that will propel membership growth while ensuring that the staff feels confident in addressing the evolving financial needs of members. His leadership is expected to align closely with MMFCU’s mission to support financial well-being across the communities it serves.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Olson actively contributes to the local community. He is involved in youth sports, officiating high school football and basketball games, coaching youth football and baseball teams, and serving on the Brainerd Sports Boosters Board. This commitment to community service reflects his dedication to the credit union’s values.
