Deborah C. “Debi” Cesarine, a lifelong resident of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Rosewood Gardens. She was 71 years old and was known for her deep roots in the community and her unwavering commitment to her family.
Born in Ridley Park, Debi was the daughter of the late Robert and Doris Fritz Hardy. She graduated from Ridley High School in the class of 1972 and pursued further studies at Bloomsburg University. Her professional career included many years as a claims adjuster for Prudential Insurance Company, where she was respected by colleagues and clients alike.
Debi was an active member of the Ridley Park Baptist Church. Her enthusiasm for local sports was evident, as she was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. Beyond her love for sports, she enjoyed beach outings, day trips with family and friends, and challenging herself with Sudoku puzzles.
Family was at the heart of Debi’s life. She cherished her time with her two cats, Mittens and Striker, but it was her relationships with family and friends that she valued the most. Her loved ones remember her fondly as a devoted wife, mother, and friend.
Debi was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Cesarine, and her brother, Robert W. Hardy. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Krista M. Cesarine, along with lifelong friends Raymond Frese and Barbara Sekscinski. Additional survivors include her nephew, Stephen Cesarine, her aunt Ruth Madison (Bill), and cousin Fran Dumigan.
In a statement, Debi’s family expressed their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Rosewood Gardens for the compassionate care provided during her final days.
The funeral service for Deborah C. Cesarine will be held at 10:30 AM on October 18, 2025, at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, located at 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Friends and relatives are welcome to call starting at 9:30 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
