Class AA Volleyball Highlights
In a tightly contested Class AA match, Bismarck Century defeated Dickinson High School with a score of 3-1. The set scores were 21-25, 25-19, 25-19, and 25-13. Despite the setback, Dickinson handed Century its third set loss of the season, falling to a record of 6-6 in Western Dakota Association (WDA) play and 9-15 overall. Senior outside hitter Jenna Nelson contributed seven kills, three aces, and seven digs, while senior setter Rubi Valencia tallied 15 assists. Junior setter Jenna Zubke led the team with 17 assists. In another Class B match, New England secured a 3-1 victory over South Heart with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 15-25, and 25-18. This win marked a return to form for New England after a previous loss to Lemmon. Senior right side Carly Wolf was instrumental in the victory, leading with 10 kills and 11 assists.
