Alma Lucia Lundstrom Lopez stands out as a high-honors graduate with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Gabriella Minoletti is working towards her degrees at the University of Nevada, Reno, with aspirations to foster a passion for agriculture and leadership among her future students. “I hope to become the kind of teacher who inspires students the way my role model, my dad, has inspired his,” Minoletti told News3LV.
From Elko, Gage Steilman is focused on secondary education with an emphasis on English. He has a notable academic record, including dean’s list honors, and is considering pursuing advanced degrees in English literature. His dedication indicates he will have a significant impact on his future students’ lives.
Despite facing personal challenges, Izabella Silver has been recognized as the 2023 Sophomore of the Year at UNLV. She remains committed to educational excellence and social impact. “I am committed to educational excellence and social impact,” Silver stated, reflecting her resilience and determination.
