The Murray County Historical Society has announced that the CarKnees will perform at the second Dinehart-Holt House Front Porch Concert of the season. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 31, 2024, at the Dinehart-Holt House located at 2812 Linden Ave. in Slayton.
The CarKnees, a family singing group composed of the Carney Family, is known for their diverse repertoire, which includes both classic and contemporary songs. As a local band, they have built a solid reputation by providing music for various regional events. Their past performances include the Slayton Women of Today’s Autumn Boutique and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum Family Fun Festival, as well as classic car roll-ins.
