Community Health & Dental Care (CHDC) has unveiled its new Mobile Oral Health Unit at Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The grand opening celebration took place on September 9, 2023, marking a significant step in providing accessible dental services to students, faculty, and the local community.
Mobile Unit Offers Comprehensive Dental Services
The Mobile Oral Health Unit, stationed at MCCC’s Pottstown Campus located at 101 College Drive, will operate every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Services offered include full dental exams, cleanings, simple extractions, sealants, and X-rays. This initiative aims to enhance access to essential dental care for all individuals, regardless of their financial situation.
Bridgette McGivern, CEO of Community Health and Dental Care, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with MCCC. “We are very excited to have this opportunity to partner with Montgomery County Community College to deliver quality dental services for the students, faculty members, and general community with easier access for all,” she stated.
During the grand opening, MCCC President Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to promote community health.
