Justin Bieber has officially released his seventh studio album, titled “Swag,” just hours after announcing the project and its extensive tracklist. The surprise unveiling came alongside an eye-catching promotional campaign featuring billboards in key locations including Iceland, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Each billboard showcased an image of Bieber paired with the word “Swag,” fueling speculation about new music.
Confirming the buzz, Bieber reposted images of the billboards on his Instagram account. He also shared a video from Times Square in New York City, which highlighted a remarkable tracklist of 20 songs. The album cover shoot images featured intimate moments with his son, Jack Blues, and his wife, Hailey Bieber, further personalizing the project.
In the months leading up to the release of “Swag,” Bieber had hinted at new music through social media posts showcasing his time in the studio. Reports indicate that he hosted jam sessions in his Los Angeles home with notable collaborators such as Carter Lang, Eddie Benjamin, and Tay James.
This new album serves as a follow-up to his previous release, “Justice,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2021. That album produced several hits, including “Anyone,” “Hold On,” and the chart-topping single “Peaches,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon.
Bieber’s career took a brief pause after the release of “Justice.” He launched the Justice World Tour in February 2022, but had to cut it short in September of the same year to prioritize his health. Although he initially scheduled dates through March 2023, he ultimately canceled the postponed shows.
Earlier this year, Bieber made a notable return to the stage as a guest performer alongside SZA at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, where they performed their collaboration “Snooze.” The release of “Swag” marks a significant moment in Bieber’s career, reigniting his presence in the music scene after a period of relative quiet.
Fans can now listen to “Swag” on various streaming platforms, eager to experience the latest from one of pop music’s most influential artists.
