Arnold Gacita Sr., Founder of Petra Cares, emphasized the transformative power of community support. “We’ve seen the lasting impact of these donations in the youth we serve every day. We don’t just use these funds for training; we provide mentorship, help with purchasing technician tools, and even serve meals,” he noted. Gacita added that for many graduates, this program represents the first real support they have experienced from an adult.
Since its inception, Petra Cares has successfully served 106 students, boasting a graduation rate of 79% and a job placement rate of 71%. These figures illustrate the tangible impact the organization has had on the lives of vulnerable young people in the community. Each dollar raised will contribute to building brighter futures and stronger communities.
Levi Patterson, a former Petra Cares graduate and current employee at Mac Haik Ford, shared his experience: “Petra didn’t just give me a job when I had nowhere else to turn.
