BREAKING: Glen Powell has revealed a jaw-dropping wardrobe malfunction he experienced while filming a stunt for his upcoming film, The Running Man. During a recent interview on Entertainment Tonight’s Spilling the E-Tea, Powell recounted an embarrassing moment that left him exposed to the crew while shooting a scene in Bulgaria.
The incident occurred while he was performing a stunt that involved rappelling down a building. Powell, who described his attire as “a marble sack” and a towel, admitted, “I’m wearing a pouch under, and then I’m wearing a towel around it.” As he descended, he was unaware of the crew members inside a nearby window, adding to the unexpected embarrassment.
Co-star Josh Brolin humorously commented on the situation, suggesting the crew would have had a clear view of Powell as he descended. Brolin even mimicked the awkward pose, leading to laughter among the cast.
In a separate conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Powell expressed regret about filming the towel scene in harsh conditions. “I regretted agreeing to it,” he noted, recalling that they shot the scene in February during freezing temperatures in Bulgaria. “Being in a towel in front of a crew is one thing, but being in a towel in February in frigid Bulgaria, it’s a sight,” he explained.
This light-hearted yet cringe-worthy moment highlights the challenges actors face while filming intense scenes. Directed by Edgar Wright, The Running Man is set to hit US theaters on November 14, 2025.
As fans eagerly await the film’s release, Powell’s candid revelations offer a glimpse into the unpredictable nature of filmmaking. Stay tuned for more updates on this hilarious mishap and the film’s upcoming premiere.
