Green Day spearhead a tasty threesome of American rock idiots on the Hella Mega Australian Stadium Tour, alongside fellow veterans Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
Announced to coincide with the release of Green Day’s 13th studio album Father of All…, the tour kicks off at Perth’s HBF Park on November 8.
The hell of a big gig will be the first Perth show from Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool since they played RAC Arena three years ago.
Weezer will also arrive with a new album. The Californian alt-rock giants led by Rivers Cuomo unveil 14th album Van Weezer in May.
The band supported Foo Fighters at HBF Park in early 2018.
Chicago pop punks Fall Out Boy, featuring singer Patrick Stump and bassist Pete Wentz, released their most recent album Mania in 2018 but unveiled a second greatest hits compilation late last year.
Joining the Yanks will be New Zealand garage pop outfit the Beths.
After Perth, the Hella Mega tour visits Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Tickets go on sale on February 14, with presales starting on Monday February 10.
