A mother who quit her nine-five rat race to travel around the world has revealed she’s visited twenty countries in two years and has now plans on slowing down – despite being seven months pregnant.
Jennifer Constant, 33, from Bristol, along with her husband Terry, 37, and son Ethan, three, sold their £310,000 four bedroom home and all of their possessions in 2016 to travel around Europe in a motor home.
The former associate director of fundraising told how her job was taking over family time with her logistics worker husband and son – so she decided to make a lifestyle change.
Inspired by her new life on the road, Jennifer launched a digital marketing agency for wedding professionals – Jennifer Claire Media – which, along with her three other businesses, makes multiple 6 figures incomes per year.
Now, despite the fact she is due to have another baby in just two months time, Jennifer has told how she has no plans to slow down.
Jennifer Constant, 33, from Bristol, is now seven months pregnant with her second baby – and allowed her son Ethan, three (pictured) to break the news from the top of a mountain in Romania
After the birth of her baby, Jennifer, who will settle in Spain for a few months, said: ‘It will also give us a calm environment to bring the new addition to our family into the world.’ Pictured with Ethan posing by a snow-capped lake in Slovakia
Speaking of travelling in a mobile home while pregnant, Jennifer said: ‘Being on the road with a three-year-old, four businesses and being heavily pregnant is no easy task.’ Pictured swimming in the ocean in Croatia
In the last year, Jennifer has travelled to 20 countries in Europe with a three-year old – and has been pregnant on the road.
The family’s visited destinations include Croatia, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
‘Being on the road with a three-year-old, four businesses and being heavily pregnant is no easy task,’ she explained.
‘I make sure I take time away from my business to soak up the culture with my family and spend time with my son.’
‘But it does mean I have to be very organised and very strict with myself to get my work done and serve my clients who are really important to me. I love to give and really love what I do, which makes it so much easier.’

The adventurer had her 20-week scan in Bulgaria – but she ended up seeing a little ‘extra between’ the legs – revealing she is having another boy. Pictured, taking time out in Spain to relax and plan their next moves
While the adventurer still doesn’t have a ‘base’ and admits she loves this new way of living, the language barrier has proved a problem – especially when it came to a baby scan.
‘One of my favourite highlights this year has to be when we had our 20-week scan in Bulgaria,’ she explained.
The twenty countries visited in two years
‘We parked our motor home outside the clinic, paid £20 to have a full 4D scan. I didn’t want to know the sex, but translations made that a little difficult. I ended up seeing something a little extra between the legs. Yes, Ethan will have a little brother!’
And the adventurer made the most of her surroundings when it came to announcing her second pregnancy, too.
‘Ethan designed a sign and we announced in to the world on top of a mountain in Romania…pretty cool memories made there,’ she added.

The busy mother is looking forward to having her very own office following the birth of the baby – but won’t stay in one place for long. ‘Once we are settled in the plan is for us to have a road trip across America in 2020,’ she said. Pictured with Ethan in Aragon, Spain
Discussing her lifestyle choice, Jennifer said: ‘Anything you desire in life is possible if you work hard and truly want it. Take chances to be the better person you want to be. Cliché or not, we only get one go.’ Pictured in Lake Bled, Slovenia
Speaking of the reason she opted for this travelling lifestyle choice, Jennifer said: ‘My short answer is to make an impact in this life and fully intend to do so.’ Pictured in Berlin, Germany
Jennifer, who is on track for another big six-figure year – making it the second year in a row – went on to explain that ‘growing a child’ on the road has been ‘certainly an experience.
‘We will rent in Spain for the birth and initial first few months,’ explained Jennifer. ‘We adore Spain and this gives Ethan a chance to really immerse himself into Spanish school life.’
Jennifer’s four businesses
Jenniferclaire.com – Celebrant success coaching group and 1-2-1, website design, brand design and development
Thecelebrantdirectory.com – guide to finding the perfect celebrant for your ceremony
Tailormadeceremonies.co.uk – award winning UK and Europe wedding celebrants, tailor making ceremonies to give couples their dream wedding
Jenniferclairemedia.com – helps businesses to define, inspire and grow through branding, web design, social media strategy and management
‘It will also give us a calm environment to bring the new addition to our family into the world.’
The entrepreneur, who previously worked as a celebrant – someone who performs a ceremony – first set up The Celebrant Directory when hitting the road.
The idea was for it to be a one-stop shop for ideas, inspiration and information about celebrants available to perform various different types of ceremony.
Successful enough to secure the family a steady stream of income, Jennifer then moved on to launching an entire digital marketing agency.
And while the businesswoman will continue to run her businesses after the baby is born, she will do so on a smaller scale so she can enjoy adjusting to life as a family-of-four.
‘Having a base and my very own office will be such a treat,’ she said. ‘Once we are settled in the plan is for us to have a road trip across America in 2020.’

While Jennifer (pictured in an unknown location) is two months from giving birth, she has told how she has no plans to slow down
But while many are envious of Jennifer’s lifestyle choice, she is often asked why she chose to travel.
‘My short answer is to make an impact in this life and fully intend to do so,’ she said. ‘It’s been one hell of a ride so far and being the founder of four successful businesses and seeing my son grow into a confident, adventure loving boy, only spurs me on to achieve more.’
She added: ‘If this inspires you, just ask yourself, why not? Life is a risk; life is a short, fragile journey that we should all fully embrace.
‘Anything you desire in life is possible if you work hard and truly want it. Take chances to be the better person you want to be. Cliché or not, we only get one go.’
